El paisaje transformado por el
trabajo humano. Esta
pinturas las hice en recuerdo de las minas
de carbón y los lagos que hay cerca de la
casa donde viví, en la frontera entre
Alemania y Holanda. Las minas de carbón
más antiguas de Europa que durante siglos
han generado miles de toneladas de
escoria, acumulada en forma de montañas
negras inertes. Un paisaje soñado y
transformado en arte.

The
human transformation of the landscape.
I've done these paintings remembering the
coal mines and lakes near my former house
on the border line between Germany and The
Netherlands. The oldest coal mines in
Europe, generating mountains of lifless
slag through the centuries. A landscape
dreamed and transformed by art.

An high quality Contemporary
Art Exhibition where to Apulian artists is
given both the opportunity to broaden
their horizons in a confrontation with
artistic expressions coming from distant
countries and, thanks to a shared passion
for art, to communicate with authors from
other cultures with which it will be
possible to create an atmosphere full of
aesthetic but also human harmony.
